Dear Shareholders:

The 2023 Annual General Meeting will be held on Saturday May 6, at 1:00 pm, in person at Trinity United Church, 1099 Maitland Ave. Ottawa Ontario, K2C 2B8, and concurrently on the Zoom meeting platform.  All regular AGM presentations, voting and question periods will take place during this meeting. I hope that you will be able to join us to review the operations for the year past ended December 31, 2022.

For those of you attending the Zoom Meeting.  You must pre-register to attend, this helps us with registering attendees and adds a layer of security to the event, you will find the link in this package.  If you cannot be present, I encourage you to fill out a proxy form so that we meet our quorum numbers so that we can duly fulfill the obligations of the Annual General Meeting of the Corporation. Proxies can be signed, scanned and emailed to Christine Brown at redpine@redpinecamp.org, or received via post to the Ottawa office, before close of business Thursday May 4, 2023.

In order to conserve paper and reduce our mailing costs, the shareholder physical mailing will contain links to the shareholder package online.  Should you desire a hard copy, a few will be available at the AGM in Ottawa, and you may request a hard copy to be mailed to you by emailing your request to the office.

I would like to highlight some of the documents included in this year’s AGM package:

Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2022, and related auditor’s report.

Management Information Circular that, among other things, lists the nominees for Red Pine Camp 2023 Board of Directors, and the

2022 Annual Business Report

Minutes of the 2022 AGM

On behalf of the Board and all shareholders and campers, I would like to express our gratitude to our full-time staff (Janet Cottreau: Executive Camp Director, Christine Brown: Business Manager, Jamie Hill: Property Manager), our part time staff (Joey Cameron: Property Assistant), and to the camp Advisory Committee members who provide them support.  Thanks to Heather Earl, Meaghan Leonard, Lorraine Holt, Darlene McGillen, Blair Sunderland and Pam Thompson for their time, talents, energy, and commitment to the success of Red Pine Camp this past year.

I would also like to highlight the work of my colleagues on the Board of Directors in their support and dedication to the goals of Red Pine Camp.  Thanks to Chris Best, Cheryl Edwards, Benjamin Farrow, Genevieve Good, Derek Love and Jodi Sinclair.

On behalf of all of us who have the opportunity to serve RPC, I hope to “see you” at the AGM on Saturday May 6, 2023.

Sincerely,

Neil Knudsen, President
