It’s that time of year again when we all look forward to another summer at Red Pine Camp.
Red Pine Camp, responding to camper demand, is introducing on-line registration. Rest assured, you will still be able to resister via traditional methods (e-mail or calling the camp office), and the booking priority will remain unchanged – shareholders first, then returning campers followed by new campers.
SHAREHOLDER booking will be between February 1 and February 17. We are also taking applications from returning non-shareholder campers during the same time period. Rest assured that shareholders will still retain preference in bookings.
For RETURNING campers who are not shareholders:
- If you wish to return the same week and same cabin as last year, your application will be processed as requested (if the cabin is not already booked by a shareholder).
- If you wish to make a change (different week and/or cabin), we suggest that you indicate the same week and/or cabin from the previous year and indicate the requested change. Your request for change will be processed providing the desired space and time becomes available.
NEW campers should contact the camp office BY PHONE ONLY (613-828-0700) beginning at 8:00 p.m. on March 12th, 2012 (leave a message). All new campers will be booked according to availability.
Also new this year will be the requirement of a signed waiver for each camper. This is a requirement for insurance as well as the Ontario Camps Association and has become necessary in a wide variety of organizations (including schools, churches, sports clubs, camps and community organizations). Each adult camper (18 years and older) is required to complete and sign a waiver while children and minors (less than 18 years) can be included on one form which must be signed by each responsible parent. The waivers forms are included on the Red Pine Camp website on the on-line booking page. We would ask that you return signed waiver(s) with your deposit for camp.
Please insure that your deposit and waiver(s) reach the camp office within two weeks of making your reservation. Note that there is no on-line payment method this year.
As this is our first year using the online registration system, we appreciate your patience and support as we work through any issues you may encounter with the system. To assist you in the online registration process we have developed user manual and a YouTube video.
Please note that the person completing the registration must use the primary camper flag (and there can be only one primary camper per registration). Individual camper requests will be linked to the primary camper.
